• We offer two routes: Age-only (selfie estimation) and Full ID (photo ID + selfie).
• We store only the verification outcome (status, method, confidence, and a reference) and no raw images.
• Verification requires a one-time fee.
• You can request the deletion of biometric data with the provider at any time.
• Some features require Full ID, such as high-risk actions and payouts.

How it works

You start verification from Settings → Verification or the Verify page, choose Age-only or Full ID, then upload a selfie (and for Full ID, a photo of your ID). We process the images using our verification provider and keep only the result (e.g. verified or rejected). Images are not retained after processing.

Rekognition & data protection

We use AWS Rekognition to run age estimation and (for Full ID) face comparison and ID text detection. Images are sent to AWS only for the duration of processing; we do not store them. Your rights under UK GDPR (access, erasure, etc.) apply; see our Privacy Policy and the help topic above for more.
